Methodist Hospital Botch Patient IV Care and then HCA Healthcare Doubles Down

NOTICE OF APPEAL

In accordance with Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure 25.1(a) and 26.1(a), Defendants Methodist Health Centers and The Methodist Hospital (“Methodist”) file this Notice of Appeal.

Methodist desires to appeal the “Order on Methodist Defendants’ Objections to the Amended Expert Report of Dr. Warren Gavin and Motion to Dismiss” signed in this case on April 22, 2024, together with all other written orders, rulings, and rulings by operation of law.

This appeal is taken from the 234th Judicial District Court of Harris County, Texas, the Honorable Lauren Reeder, judge presiding, and taken to the First or Fourteenth Court of Appeals in Houston, Texas, and to the Supreme Court of Texas, if necessary.

As required by the Local Rules Relating to Assignment of Related Cases to and Transfers of Related Cases between the First and Fourteenth Courts of Appeals, I certify that there are not related appeals filed in either the First or Fourteenth Court of Appeals.
